Downloading the JDK

The JDK can be downloaded on the Oracle website. There's only one JDK version for Mac OS X.

We can download the JDK on this link, JDK 8 Download

OS X Java

Note that Mac OS X comes with its version of Java. This will not work for Java development. We still have to download the JDK from the Oracle website.
